The photo below will give you an idea on how your scars would look like after surgery. Scars are inevitable but can be minimized through proper post-operative care in the incision area, laser treatments and scar cream and ointments.
Grade I
The scar would be about 2-3cm at the outer side of the areola.
Grade II
The scar would be about 2-3cm at the outer side of the areola. From this grade onwards, Liposuction is done on the entire chest area. Bruising mostly occurs on the Anterior Axillary folds.
Grade III
Excessive skin around the breast area will be removed. The scar would be surrounding the entire areola area. Bruising occurs on all areas but mostly on the Anterior Axillary folds.
Grade IV
Excessive skin surrounding the breast area to the bottom of the breast will be removed. The scar would look like an “anchor”. Scar would be surrounding the entire areola going down to the bottom of the breast creating an “inverted T”.
