The recommended length of stay in Korea depends on the surgical method and your individual recovery.

  • If you are a B cup or smaller and qualify for keyhole surgery, a stay of approximately 5–7 days may be sufficient in many cases.
  • If you require a double incision or anchor (inverted-T) incision technique, we generally recommend staying in Korea for about 2 weeks.

Although recovery varies from person to person, this recommended period allows our medical team to monitor you during the most important early phase of healing. During this time, potential complications such as bleeding or infection, which occur at a low rate, can be detected and treated promptly if they arise.

In addition, this timeframe helps ensure that you are in a stable and safe condition for long-distance air travel before returning home.
