Mommy Makeover in Seoul, Korea
A personalized, staged plan for abdominal and breast changes after pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or major weight change.

What can a Mommy Makeover address?
Pregnancy may change the abdomen and breasts in different ways. The operation is selected according to the actual structural problem—not from a preset package.
✓ Abdomen
Loose or hanging skin, a stretched lower abdomen, separated abdominal muscles, or fat around the abdomen, waist, flanks and back may require a tummy tuck or lipoabdominoplasty.
✓ Breasts
Sagging, loss of volume, enlarged breasts or asymmetry may be treated with a breast lift, augmentation or reduction.
! Timing matters
Surgery is best planned after breastfeeding has ended, body weight has stabilized, future pregnancy is not expected soon, and nicotine use can be stopped as directed.
Why is Mommy Makeover surgery staged?
Combining two major operations into one long anesthesia can increase physical stress and make early recovery more difficult. Evita Clinic separates the abdominal and breast operations while coordinating them within the same visit to Korea.
Abdominal contouring
Dr. Jeon performs the selected tummy tuck or lipoabdominoplasty first. The operation is generally planned within approximately 3–4 hours, followed by monitored recovery and same-day discharge when stable.
- Skin removal according to the degree of laxity
- Muscle repair only when clinically indicated
- 360° liposuction when included in the plan
- Drain and wound assessment after surgery
recovery and
medical re-check
Breast surgery
If the abdominal recovery is satisfactory, the selected breast lift, reduction or augmentation is performed on a separate day. This operation is also generally planned within approximately 3–4 hours.
- Repeat examination before proceeding
- Incision design based on breast shape and sagging
- Volume reduction or restoration when needed
- Separate postoperative monitoring and discharge

Which combination is appropriate?
The correct plan depends on skin laxity, abdominal muscle condition, fat distribution, breast volume, breast sagging and the amount of recovery the patient can safely manage.
- Loose abdominal skin only: tummy tuck
- Loose skin plus circumferential fat: lipoabdominoplasty
- Sagging breasts with adequate volume: breast lift
- Sagging with excessive volume: breast reduction
- Loss of volume with limited sagging: augmentation
- Significant sagging plus desired implants: an additional staged plan may be safer than lift and implants together

Two outpatient operations, not one prolonged anesthesia
Evita Clinic uses tumescent local anesthesia combined with monitored twilight sedation rather than general anesthesia. ECG, oxygen saturation and blood pressure are monitored continuously during both operations and recovery.
Routine hospitalization is not required. After each stage, the patient leaves the clinic only when awake, stable and able to walk with assistance. A responsible adult should accompany the patient and stay nearby during early recovery.
Safety-focused scheduling
- One surgical patient is scheduled per day
- Each stage is generally limited to approximately 3–4 hours
- Abdominal surgery is performed first
- The second stage follows only after medical re-evaluation
- Early assisted walking is encouraged to reduce clot risk
- Smoking cessation and preoperative medical screening are required
Plan to stay in Korea for at least 3 weeks
A staged Mommy Makeover requires follow-up for two surgical sites. The exact schedule depends on drainage, wound healing, mobility and the procedures selected.
What the surgery can—and cannot—do
- Remove loose lower-abdominal skin
- Repair abdominal-wall separation when indicated
- Improve waist contour when liposuction is included
- Lift, reduce or restore breast volume
- Improve overall balance between the torso and breasts
It cannot guarantee perfect symmetry, remove every stretch mark or prevent future changes from pregnancy, aging or weight fluctuation. Scars are permanent and mature gradually.
Possible risks
- Bleeding, hematoma, infection or seroma
- Delayed healing, wound separation or skin-edge necrosis
- Visible, widened, raised or asymmetric scars
- Numbness, altered nipple sensation, pain or firmness
- Breast or abdominal asymmetry and contour irregularity
- Difficulty breastfeeding after some breast procedures
- Implant-related complications when implants are used
- Deep-vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism or cardiopulmonary complications
- Need to postpone the second stage or perform revision surgery
Mommy Makeover questions for international patients
Is Mommy Makeover one operation at Evita Clinic?
No. Evita Clinic plans abdominal and breast surgery as two separate operations. The abdominal procedure is performed first, and breast surgery is usually scheduled 1–2 days later only after Dr. Jeon confirms that recovery is satisfactory.
Why is the tummy tuck performed first?
The abdominal operation generally creates the greater early mobility and drainage burden. Performing it first allows Dr. Jeon to assess the patient’s response before proceeding with breast surgery and to postpone the second stage if necessary.
Can I choose exactly which procedures I want online?
Photos can support a preliminary recommendation, but the final combination, scar pattern and staging are confirmed after an in-person examination of the abdomen and breasts.
How soon after childbirth can I have surgery?
Body weight, abdominal tissues, hormones and breast volume should have stabilized, and breastfeeding should be completely finished. Evita Clinic generally considers surgery at least one year after childbirth, but timing is individualized.
Can I have another pregnancy after a Mommy Makeover?
Pregnancy remains possible, but it can stretch the abdominal wall, skin and breast tissue again. If another pregnancy is planned soon, postponing surgery is usually recommended.
Can breast lift and implants be performed together?
They may be combined in selected cases, but significant sagging and a desire for larger implants can place more tension on healing tissue. Dr. Jeon may recommend a further staged approach when this is safer and more predictable.
Will I need hospital admission?
Routine overnight admission is not required. Each operation is followed by monitored recovery, and the patient is discharged on the same day after meeting safety criteria. Nearby accommodation and an accompanying adult are strongly recommended.
How long must I stay in Korea?
For the typical staged abdominal and breast Mommy Makeover plan, stay in Korea for at least 3 weeks. A longer stay may be needed if the operations are extensive or wound healing requires additional care.
When can I fly home?
Flight timing is confirmed after both operations and follow-up examinations. Long-distance travel should not be booked earlier than the advised 3-week stay, and it may need to be delayed if there is wound, drainage or clot-related concern.
How much does a Mommy Makeover cost?
There is no fixed package fee. The total is calculated from the current fixed KRW fees for the selected abdominal and breast procedures. Your written plan confirms the exact operations and total before scheduling.
Can I care for my child by myself after surgery?
No. Arrange adult help for childcare, meals, transport and household tasks. Lifting a child can place excessive tension on abdominal and breast incisions and should be avoided until Dr. Jeon clears it.
What information should I send for an online assessment?
Send clear front, side and oblique photos of the abdomen and front, side and three-quarter views of the breasts, along with age, height, weight, pregnancy and breastfeeding history, previous surgery, medical conditions, medications, smoking status and preferred travel dates.
