Liposuction Surgery in Seoul, Korea
Liposuction removes localized subcutaneous fat to improve proportion and body shape. At Evita Clinic, each plan is designed around how one contour flows into the next—not around removing the largest possible volume.

What problem does liposuction actually treat?
The first step is identifying whether the visible fullness comes from removable fat, loose skin, muscle or internal anatomy. A smaller volume does not always create a better contour.
✓ Usually suitable
You have localized, pinchable subcutaneous fat, reasonably elastic skin, stable weight and realistic expectations about shape improvement.
! Needs careful assessment
You have both fat and skin laxity, previous liposuction, tethering, asymmetry or major weight change. Liposuction alone may not correct every concern.
! Another procedure may be better
Your main issue is hanging skin, muscle separation, visceral fat, a hernia or a contour that depends more on bone and muscle structure than fat.

Body contouring is the art of preserving flow
The body is built from connected curves. Treating only the most obvious pocket can make that point smaller while leaving an abrupt transition to the untreated area.
For this reason, Dr. Jeon evaluates three major body regions—arms, torso and thighs—as complete three-dimensional contours. The treatment range is determined by anatomy, not by a promise to remove the maximum amount of fat.
When is localized liposuction considered?
A very limited single-area approach may be appropriate for selected touch-ups, a small adjacent addition or revision after previous surgery. These cases require individual examination because scar tissue and remaining fat thickness can change both the technique and risk.
The listed ₩1,650,000 focal fee applies only to selected limited or additional treatment—not to a standard primary body region. Complex revision surgery requires an individualized quotation.
How liposuction is performed at Evita Clinic
1. Standing assessment and design
Dr. Francis Jeon evaluates fat distribution, skin elasticity, scars, asymmetry and the transitions between adjacent areas before marking the surgical plan.
2. Tumescent anesthesia and sedation
Tumescent local anesthesia is combined with monitored twilight sedation. ECG, oxygen saturation and blood pressure are continuously monitored.
3. Layered contouring
Small access incisions and controlled multidirectional liposuction are used to reduce fat while preserving an even layer for smoothness and skin viability. Laser assistance is used only when clinically appropriate, particularly in selected facial or additional cases.
All surgery is performed by Dr. Jeon. Evita Clinic schedules one surgical patient per day and does not routinely require overnight hospital admission.
What to expect before and after surgery
Recovery varies by treatment area and extent. Light walking is encouraged early, while swelling, bruising, drainage, firmness and temporary unevenness are expected during healing.
What liposuction can—and cannot—change
- Reduce selected deposits of subcutaneous fat
- Improve proportion and the transition between adjacent areas
- Provide long-lasting fat-cell reduction when weight remains stable
- Refine shape without a long skin-excision scar
Liposuction does not guarantee perfectly symmetrical or cellulite-free skin. It does not prevent future weight change, remove substantial loose skin or replace healthy weight management.
Possible risks
- Swelling, bruising, pain, drainage or temporary numbness
- Bleeding, seroma or infection
- Contour irregularity, asymmetry, fibrosis or skin tethering
- Persistent or more visible skin laxity
- Access scars, pigment change or delayed healing
- Skin injury, fat necrosis or need for revision
- Blood clots, fluid imbalance or anesthesia-related complications
Risk depends on the treated area, treatment extent, health status and previous surgery.
Liposuction questions answered
Is liposuction a weight-loss surgery?
No. Liposuction reshapes selected areas by removing subcutaneous fat. The best candidates are generally near a stable, healthy weight and want a change in proportion rather than a large reduction on the scale.
How much fat can be removed?
The safe and useful amount depends on the treatment area, body size, skin quality, health and operating time. Dr. Jeon prioritizes smooth transitions and patient safety rather than promising a maximum volume.
Will the fat come back?
Removed fat cells do not regenerate in the same way, but remaining fat cells can enlarge and other areas can change with weight gain. Stable weight helps preserve the result.
Will liposuction tighten loose skin?
Mildly elastic skin may contract as swelling settles, but liposuction does not remove skin. Moderate or severe laxity may remain or become more visible and can require a tummy tuck, arm lift or thigh lift.
Does Evita Clinic use laser liposuction everywhere?
No. The technique is selected for the anatomy and treatment goal. Laser assistance may be used in selected face, neck or additional areas, while body contouring may use other controlled liposuction methods. No device can guarantee skin tightening.
What anesthesia is used?
Tumescent local anesthesia is combined with monitored twilight sedation rather than general anesthesia. Vital signs are continuously monitored during surgery and recovery.
Are the scars visible?
Liposuction uses several small access incisions, usually placed in natural creases or less conspicuous areas. Scars are permanent but generally small; their color and thickness vary between individuals.
How long should I stay in Korea?
It depends on the operation: 3–5 days for arms or face and neck, and 5–7 days for tummy or thigh and hip liposuction. Use the minimum and recommended periods shown in the current price table.
How long should I wear compression?
For body liposuction, compression is generally recommended for at least 8 weeks, with adjustments for swelling and garment fit. Face and neck compression follows a separate, area-specific schedule.
Can several areas be treated on the same day?
Not automatically. Evita Clinic generally limits surgery to a safe operating time and may stage larger combinations on different days. The decision depends on total treatment extent, expected fluid shift and your health.
Can liposuction correct dents or adhesions from previous surgery?
Revision liposuction can be difficult. Scar tethering, very thin remaining fat and dynamic depressions may require cautious release, staged treatment or fat grafting, and complete correction cannot be guaranteed.
Can I see private before-and-after photos?
To protect patient privacy, Evita Clinic does not send other patients’ private photographs individually. Only consented cases already published on the website are available for viewing.
