Thighplasty (Thigh Lift Surgery)

Sleeker Thighs, Better Contour

Do you feel self-conscious about loose, sagging skin or stubborn fat on your thighs—especially after major weight loss or due to aging? You’re not alone. Many people struggle with “thigh chafing” or skin laxity that no amount of diet or exercise can correct.
Thigh Lift surgery, also known as Thighplasty, is a specialized body contouring procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat from the thighs, restoring a smoother, firmer, and more sculpted leg shape.

At Evita Clinic in Seoul, we provide tailored Thigh Lift procedures to match your body type, skin condition, and personal goals. Whether you require a subtle inner thigh tightening or a more extensive lift, we offer safe and effective solutions to help you achieve beautifully contoured legs—and the confidence to wear fitted clothing or swimwear again.

Thighplasty

What is Thighplasty?

Thighplasty, commonly known as a thigh lift, is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the inner and/or outer thighs.
This procedure is ideal for those who:

  • Have loose, sagging skin on the thighs after significant weight loss
  • Experience age-related loss of skin elasticity in the thigh area

  • Want to achieve smoother, firmer, and more proportionate thighs

  • Feel uncomfortable wearing fitted pants, skirts, or swimwear

The goal of the surgery is not only to remove excess tissue but also to reshape and contour the thighs to create a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing body line.

Incision & Scarring

Mini Thigh Lift uses smaller incisions that are hidden within the natural crease of the groin. These scars are easily concealed by underwear or shorts and typically heal with minimal visibility.

Standard Thigh Lift requires a longer incision that runs along the inner thigh, sometimes extending down toward the knee. While effective for removing a larger amount of excess skin, the resulting scar can be more noticeable, especially when wearing shorter clothing.

At our clinic, we also provide specialized scar treatment programs to support proper healing and improve the final appearance of surgical scars.

Recovery Timeline

Most patients return to light activity within 2–3 weeks, and full results are typically visible in about 3–4 months. A compression garment should be worn for at least 2 months to support healing, minimize swelling, and help the thighs adapt to their new contour.

Postoperative Milestones Duration
Back to daily activity 2~3 weeks
Compression garment 3–4 months
Bruising/swelling subsides 3~4 weeks
Full result 2–3 months
Scar fading Up to 1 year

Risks & Considerations

As with any surgery, risks may include:

  • Temporary numbness, tightness, or swelling in the thigh area
  • Scarring along the inner thigh (hypertrophic or keloid in rare cases)
  • Infection or bleeding (rare)
  • Asymmetry or contour irregularities
  • Prolonged swelling or delayed wound healing

Our experienced surgeon takes every step to ensure a safe, effective outcome while minimizing these risks.
