Meet Dr. Francis Jeon
Dr. Francis Jeon is a board-certified thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon and the founder of Evita Clinic. Before opening the clinic in 2009, he trained and worked in university-hospital settings treating conditions involving the heart, lungs, blood vessels, and chest wall.
His background shapes his approach to chest and body contouring: careful anatomical planning, respect for blood supply, precise tissue handling, and close postoperative observation. He personally evaluates each patient, performs every operation, and oversees postoperative care.
When a requested combination would make surgery too long or recovery less safe, the procedures are divided into separate stages.

A Safety-Focused Surgical System

One Patient, One Team
One main operation is scheduled per day, allowing the surgeon and staff to focus on that patient before, during, and after surgery.
Monitored Anesthesia
Procedures are generally performed with tumescent local anesthesia and monitored twilight sedation, with continuous ECG, oxygen saturation, and blood-pressure monitoring.
Appropriate Staging
Operations that would create excessive surgical time or recovery burden are performed on separate dates. More procedures at once are not always better.
Continuity of Care
The team provides dressings, follow-up visits, recovery guidance, and remote support after international patients return home.
Care for International Patients
Many patients travel to Seoul specifically for surgery. Our coordinators explain the consultation process, expected recovery, recommended stay in Korea, appointment dates, and any documents or tests that may be needed.
English assistance is available throughout consultation and treatment, and Russian-language assistance is also available. Routine recovery questions can be discussed by message after departure; urgent concerns should be assessed promptly by a local medical professional.
Planning Your Own Trip
Evita Clinic does not sell packaged medical tours. Patients arrange their own flights and accommodation, while our team provides clinic-related guidance and practical information about staying near the clinic.
Remote Follow-Up
International patients can send recovery updates and questions after returning home. Remote support does not replace urgent or hands-on local medical assessment when it is needed.

Soonchunhyang University Hospital is among the medical centers that may be considered when advanced testing, specialist consultation, or emergency hospital care is needed. Referral depends on the patient’s condition and availability.
WPATH Membership
Dr. Jeon is a WPATH member. Gender-affirming care is planned individually with reference to current professional guidance, including Standards of Care Version 8 where applicable.
