Face Contouring in Seoul: Choosing the Right Treatment
Facial width, lines, volume loss, skin quality, a double chin, and loose skin are different problems. Evita Clinic selects treatment according to the tissue causing the concern—not simply the name of the facial area.
“Face contouring” is not one procedure
A broad lower face can come from muscle, fat, bone, skin laxity, or several factors together. The same treatment cannot correct every cause.
Masseter prominence
A thick masseter muscle can widen the lower face. Botulinum toxin reduces muscle activity; it does not reduce the jawbone.
Localized depression
Selected contour deficits may be supported with filler. Broader volume restoration may be better assessed for facial fat grafting.
Double chin or fullness
Pinchable superficial fat beneath the chin may suit conservative liposuction. Deep structures and skeletal anatomy are different problems.
Laxity or texture
Skin boosters may improve skin quality gradually, but they do not remove excess skin or reproduce a surgical lifting result.

Three treatment groups with different goals
These procedures work in different tissue layers. They should not be treated as interchangeable products.
Botulinum Toxin Type A
BTX-A temporarily weakens selected muscles. It may soften expression lines or reduce lower-face width when masseter hypertrophy is a meaningful cause.

- Crow’s feet or cobblestone chin
Limit: It does not reduce bone, remove fat, replace lost volume, or lift loose skin.
Hyaluronic Acid Filler
HA filler adds localized volume and can support selected contours such as the lips, chin, or folds after anatomical assessment. The amount and injection plane depend on the area and product.
- More immediate volume than a collagen stimulator
- Small, targeted contour changes
- Temporary and not perfectly predictable
Important: Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause skin necrosis, visual loss, or stroke and requires urgent treatment.
Juvelook and Rejuran
These injectable treatments are used primarily for gradual skin-quality improvement rather than the immediate structural volume provided by a conventional filler.
- Juvelook: PDLLA and hyaluronic acid
- Juvelook Volume: higher-volume collagen support
- Rejuran: polynucleotide-based skin treatment
Limit: Multiple sessions may be recommended, and they do not replace a facelift, liposuction, or precise HA filler correction.

Injection fees are based on the listed treatment area, dose, syringe, or vial. Additional product, a different dose, medication, or another procedure may change the total. Liposuction fees include consultation, anesthesia, surgery, and routine postoperative clinic care; prescription medicine and the facial compression band are not included. Product availability is confirmed when booking.
Fat reduction and volume restoration need separate plans
An injection cannot remove a double chin, and liposuction cannot replace lost facial volume. These concerns have dedicated surgical guides.
Small injections still require medical judgment
The treatment plan must account for facial anatomy, product properties, previous procedures, medical history, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin or dental infection, and the timing of travel.
- Pain, redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or temporary asymmetry
- Infection, inflammation, allergic reaction, or delayed reaction
- Under-correction, over-correction, lumps, nodules, or an unsatisfactory contour
- Unwanted muscle weakness, brow or eyelid droop, smile or chewing change after BTX-A
- Rare spread of botulinum toxin effect with generalized weakness, swallowing difficulty, or breathing difficulty
- Vascular occlusion after filler or another facial injection, with possible tissue loss, visual injury, or neurological injury
- Need for urgent treatment, dissolution when applicable, or another corrective procedure

Face contouring questions
What does nonsurgical face contouring mean?
It is a general term for injections that address selected facial concerns without surgery. At Evita Clinic this may include botulinum toxin for muscle activity, hyaluronic acid filler for focal volume, and Juvelook or Rejuran for skin-quality goals. These treatments are not interchangeable.
Can botulinum toxin make a square jaw smaller?
It may reduce lower-face width when a prominent masseter muscle is a meaningful cause. It does not reduce the jawbone, remove facial fat, or tighten loose skin, so examination is needed before predicting the result.
How long does facial botulinum toxin last?
The effect is temporary. It usually develops gradually over several days, becomes clearer over the following weeks, and commonly fades over several months. The timing varies with the muscle, dose, product, metabolism, and repeated treatment history.
What is the difference between HA filler and Juvelook?
Hyaluronic acid filler provides more immediate, localized volume or shape. Juvelook combines PDLLA and hyaluronic acid and is used mainly for gradual collagen and skin-quality improvement. Juvelook Volume has a different concentration and role. The products should not be chosen by price alone.
Can injections remove a double chin?
These facial injections do not reliably remove a meaningful layer of submental fat. If the concern is caused mainly by accessible superficial fat and the skin has suitable elasticity, face or neck liposuction may be considered after a separate surgical assessment.
Does Evita Clinic perform facelift, SMAS lift, jawbone surgery, or buccal fat removal?
No. Evita Clinic does not perform facial facelift or SMAS lift surgery, facial bone-contouring surgery, or buccal fat removal. When one of these is more appropriate than the treatments offered at Evita Clinic, the limitation will be explained honestly.
How much does face contouring cost?
Current fees are shown in the table above. Facial BTX-A is priced by treatment area, while filler and skin-quality injections are priced by the listed syringe or vial. A broader dose, additional product, or combined treatment may change the total.
What downtime should I expect?
Most injection visits are completed on an outpatient basis, but redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or asymmetry can be visible for several days. Filler and collagen-stimulating treatments can occasionally produce prolonged swelling, lumps, or delayed reactions. Surgical liposuction has a separate recovery timeline.
Can I combine a facial injection with another surgery at Evita Clinic?
Sometimes. These treatments are often provided as complementary procedures, but combination is not automatic. Dr. Jeon considers the planned surgery, anesthesia, total treatment burden, infection risk, facial swelling, positioning, and postoperative follow-up before deciding whether to combine or separate the dates.
Can international patients have treatment during a short visit?
Most injections do not require admission and can be performed as a same-day outpatient visit after consultation. However, availability must be confirmed in advance, and patients should avoid scheduling immediately before departure when possible because unexpected swelling or a rare urgent complication may require in-person evaluation. Liposuction requires the Korea stay shown in the table.
