At Evita Clinic, we believe that proper post-operative care is just as important as the surgery itself. No matter how major or minor the procedure, recovery depends greatly on the quality of post-surgical management. That’s why we’ve developed a comprehensive 3-Step Care Plan to help patients recover comfortably and confidently.
Step 1
Post-Operative Wound Check & Dressing
The first 24 hours after surgery are critical. That’s why all patients are required to visit the clinic the day after surgery, no exceptions.
- Our surgeon personally removes the bandage, inspects the incision, and evaluates swelling and bruising.
- A mirror is provided so patients can see the early results for themselves.
- For those who had tummy or thigh liposuction, sutures at the back are carefully re-tightened.
- All wound care and dressing are performed directly by the surgeon.
Recovery rates vary by individual. For the first 3–7 days, we encourage daily visits, especially for surgeries like liposuction, tummy tuck, or breast surgery.
Treatment plans are adjusted based on physical symptoms and the patient’s own feedback.
- If pain is present, we offer IV Pain Therapy.
- If needed, we also provide IV Antibiotics, based on the surgeon’s assessment.
- For patients with surgical drains, our team monitors output daily. If the drainage drops below 30cc, the surgeon may decide to remove the drain.

If you had surgery on a Friday, don’t worry!
Dr. Jeon always checks wounds on Saturdays for post-op patients.
Even though our clinic is officially closed on weekends, we ensure your early recovery care is never delayed.
Step 2
Recovery Massage & Infrared Therapy
At Evita Clinic, we offer Radiofrequency (RF) Massage and Infrared Light Therapy as part of our recovery protocol — free of charge.
- These therapies start from Day 7 post-surgery, once bleeding and pain have subsided.
- Sessions last about 15–20 minutes per body area.
- Though slightly uncomfortable at first, most patients soon come to look forward to their sessions.
You’ll receive therapy in a quiet, private room, allowing your body to rest, relax, and heal.
Step 3
Take-Home Aftercare Essentials
Before leaving the clinic, patients are provided with a personalized aftercare kit, including:
- Betadine swabs
- Sterile gauze
- Bandages and healing ointments
- Printed step-by-step care instructions
