Body Lift Surgery Guide
Please read these medication instructions carefully after your body lift surgery at Evita Clinic. Taking your medications correctly helps control pain and swelling, reduce the risk of infection, and support proper healing.
Your Medication Plan Is Individually Adjusted
The medications shown on this page are examples of medicines that may be prescribed after body lift and body contouring procedures, including abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), brachioplasty (arm lift), thigh lift, and other related surgeries.
Your surgeon will select, add, replace, or omit medications depending on your type of surgery, surgical area, medical condition, current medications, known drug allergies, previous medication reactions, symptoms, and recovery progress.
If you have an allergy, sensitivity, or previous adverse reaction to a particular medication, it may be replaced with a more appropriate alternative.
You may not receive every medication shown on this page. Take only the medications that have been specifically prescribed or provided to you by Evita Clinic.
Most Important Notes
- Take Medications After Meals: Unless otherwise instructed, take your prescribed medications after meals.
- Take Only Your Prescribed Medications: The photographs on this page are provided to help you identify your medicines. Do not take a medication simply because it appears on this page.
- Complete the Prescribed Course: Do not stop your scheduled medications early unless instructed by Evita Clinic.
- Follow the Correct Sequence: Complete the first medication course before beginning the second medication course, unless you receive different instructions.
- Tell Us About Medication Allergies: Inform Evita Clinic about any known drug allergies, sensitivities, or previous adverse medication reactions.
- Contact Evita Clinic: Contact us if you develop a rash, persistent vomiting, breathing difficulty, severe dizziness, or another unusual reaction.
Medication Schedule
Your prescription may vary according to your surgical procedure and individual condition. Some medications may be changed, added, replaced, or omitted when medically appropriate.
Always follow the instructions printed on your medication package and the directions provided by the Evita Clinic medical team.
First Medication Course
Begin with the medications prescribed as your first medication course. After completing this course, begin the second medication course unless Evita Clinic gives you different instructions.
Evoride Tab. (Levosulpiride 25 mg)
Evoride is generally prescribed after abdominal surgery, including abdominoplasty and abdominal body contouring.
It helps improve gastrointestinal movement and may relieve postoperative nausea, indigestion, abdominal bloating, and stomach discomfort.
Unireba Tab. (Rebamipide)
Unireba is generally prescribed after surgery involving areas other than the abdomen, such as brachioplasty or thigh lift.
It helps protect the stomach lining and reduce stomach irritation that may occur while taking postoperative medications.
Evoride or Unireba
You will normally receive only one of these two stomach medications.
Evoride is generally used after abdominal surgery, while Unireba is generally used after surgery on other areas of the body. Do not take both unless specifically instructed by Evita Clinic.
Huclor Cap. (Cefaclor 250 mg)
Huclor is an antibiotic used to help prevent or treat bacterial infection after surgery.
Complete the full prescribed course even if you feel well, unless Evita Clinic instructs you otherwise.
Unicetal Tab. (Aceclofenac 100 mg)
Unicetal is a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medication that helps reduce postoperative pain, inflammation, and swelling.
Unibuerger F Tab. (Beraprost Sodium 0.04 mg)
Unibuerger F helps improve peripheral blood circulation by widening blood vessels and supporting blood flow to healing tissues.
Transamin Cap. (Tranexamic Acid 250 mg)
Transamin helps reduce postoperative bleeding and bruising by stabilizing blood clots.
Additional Medication Prescribed Only in Certain Cases
The following medication is not routinely prescribed to every patient. Take it only if it has been specifically included in your prescription.
Alpesone SR Tab. (Eperisone Hydrochloride 75 mg)
Alpesone SR is a muscle relaxant that is prescribed only in rare cases.
It may be prescribed after abdominoplasty when abdominal muscle plication has been performed and the patient has significant muscle tightness, muscle spasms, or muscle-related pain.
It helps relax tightened muscles and reduce discomfort caused by muscle tension.
- Take this medication only if it has been specifically prescribed to you.
- Follow the dose and schedule written on your medication package.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Do not crush, split, or chew the tablet because it is an extended-release medication.
- It may cause dizziness, weakness, or drowsiness.
Most patients do not require this medication after surgery.
Second Medication Course
Begin the medications below only after completing the first medication course, unless Evita Clinic gives you different instructions.
Samtis Cap. (Vitis vinifera Seed Dry Extract 180 mg)
Samtis helps support venous and lymphatic circulation and may help reduce persistent swelling during recovery.
Rizaben Cap. (Tranilast 100 mg)
Rizaben is not routinely prescribed to every patient.
It is prescribed only when a patient has a known tendency to develop keloid scars or when the surgeon determines that additional scar-prevention medication may be helpful.
When prescribed, Rizaben is usually started after completing the first medication course.
Extra Pain Medicine — Take Only When You Have Pain
Hutradol Semi Tab. (Tramadol Hydrochloride 18.75 mg / Acetaminophen 162.5 mg)
Hutradol Semi is an additional pain medicine that may be provided separately when you leave the clinic.
Take this medication only when you have significant pain. You do not need to take it when you are comfortable or when your pain is mild.
- Follow the dose and time interval written on your medication package.
- Do not take it routinely when you are not in pain.
- It may cause nausea, dizziness, or drowsiness.
- Do not drink alcohol or drive after taking this medication.
- Do not take additional medication containing acetaminophen unless instructed by Evita Clinic.
Hutradol Semi is not part of your scheduled first or second medication course.
Possible Side Effects
- Mild stomach discomfort
- Nausea
- Loose stools or constipation
- Dizziness or drowsiness
- Skin rash or itching
Most side effects are mild and temporary. If symptoms are severe, persistent, or worsening, contact Evita Clinic for instructions.
When Should I Contact Evita Clinic?
- Severe rash, hives, or facial swelling
- Difficulty breathing
- Persistent vomiting
- Severe dizziness or fainting
- Severe abdominal or stomach pain
- Any other unusual reaction after taking your medication
Seek emergency medical assistance immediately if you develop difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, or signs of a severe allergic reaction.
Important Note
These medications are commonly used after body lift and body contouring procedures performed at Evita Clinic, but the exact prescription is individually determined.
Take only the medications prescribed or provided specifically for you, and follow the instructions given by the Evita Clinic medical team.
Do not take additional prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, supplements, or herbal products without first consulting Evita Clinic.
