How to Prepare For Consultation

Consultation is not a lecture from your surgeon. Feel free to raise some questions. Write it down so you won’t forget. This way you would be able to satisfy any curiosity and doubts you may have. You may ask anything from questions about the surgery itself to the surgeon's experience. This is especially important if you decide to have the surgery on the same day.

Gynecomastia Grade III Surgery | Evita Clinic

Gynecomastia Grade 3 surgery at Evita Clinic involves liposuction, gland removal, and skin resection to achieve a flatter, more natural-looking chest. Dr. Francis Jeon emphasizes the importance of post-surgery exercise to prevent the 'crying chest' effect and maintain optimal results. Learn more about our personalized treatment approach.

Drain After Surgery

A surgical drain is a small tube placed under your skin during procedures like Tummy Tucks, Gynecomastia, or Breast Surgery at Evita Clinic. Its main purpose is to remove excess fluid from the surgical area, which helps reduce swelling and promotes faster healing. You will need to empty the attached collection bulb several times daily and carefully record the fluid amount – this information is crucial for your surgeon during follow-up visits. While wearing the drain might feel slightly awkward, it is secured by a stitch and typically not painful. The drain is usually removed after 3 to 5 days, depending on your surgery and when the fluid output decreases significantly. The removal process is quick and generally involves only minor discomfort.

The scars after Gynecomastia Surgery would depend on the Grade.

Male breast surgery scars vary significantly depending on the grade of gynecomastia. From nearly invisible scars in Grade 1 to anchor-shaped incisions in severe Grade 4 cases, understanding your condition helps set realistic expectations. Learn how each grade affects the surgical approach and scar outcome—and how proper aftercare can minimize scarring.
