How to Prepare for Your Consultation at Evita Clinic

A Smooth Start for a Safe and Satisfying Surgery

Why Preparation Matters

Your consultation is more than just a first meeting—it sets the tone for your entire surgical experience. At Evita Clinic, we welcome patients from all over the world. The more prepared and informed you are, the better your outcome will be.

1. Define Your Goals Clearly

Don’t simply say, “Do what you think is best.” While it sounds flexible, it may result in unnecessary procedures or mismatched expectations.

  • Think about what bothers you most about your appearance.

  • Be specific about what you hope to improve.

  • Keep your goals realistic and be open to your surgeon’s recommendations.

2. Do Some Research

You don’t have to know everything, but basic understanding helps a lot.

  • Read articles or watch videos about your procedure.
  • Visit our Evita Clinic website for details.
  • Read patient testimonials and reviews.

Note on Before/After Photos:
At Evita Clinic, we do not publish patient before-and-after photos, unlike many other clinics. This is not because of a lack of results, but because we strictly protect your privacy and medical data. This policy applies equally to your case as well.
If you want to visualize outcomes, our surgeons will use diagrams and reference illustrations during your consultation—without compromising patient privacy.

Be Careful with Internet Ads and Social Media Posts:
Please do not fully trust images and promises seen on Instagram or other advertisement-heavy platforms.
Many before-and-after photos online are heavily edited or Photoshopped, and may create unrealistic expectations.
Following inaccurate or exaggerated claims can lead to misunderstanding what body contouring truly involves, and may make you believe that dramatic transformations are guaranteed or effortless—which is not the reality.
True surgical outcomes depend on many factors including your body type, skin condition, and healing process.
Trust certified professionals, not influencers or paid ads.

3. Ask Questions

Consultation is a conversation, not a lecture.

  • Write down your questions in advance.
  • Ask about the procedure, risks, recovery, and the surgeon’s experience.
  • This is especially important if you’re planning same-day surgery.

4. Send Photos in Advance (Optional but Helpful)

If possible, send us photos of your area of concern beforehand. This allows our surgeons to:

  • Understand your condition before your visit
  • Recommend the best surgical approach
  • Shorten consultation time and improve accuracy

5. Share Your Medical Information

Your safety is our top priority. Please let us know:

  • What medications you’re currently taking
  • Any drug or anesthesia allergies
  • Any chronic conditions or past surgeries

Some medications need to be paused before surgery. Informing us early helps us plan safely.

6. About Medical Tests

In most cases, pre-operative blood tests or radiologic imaging (such as X-rays) are not required for minor to moderate procedures at Evita Clinic.

However, if necessary, these tests can be done on the same day of your consultation or surgery.
There is no need for separate hospital visits or advance appointments.

7. Legal Requirements for Sedation (Sleep Anesthesia)

If your surgery involves IV sedation (sleep anesthesia), please note:

➡️ Korean law requires the clinic to report the use of anesthetic drugs.
➡️ Therefore, you must bring a valid ID on the day of surgery.

Accepted IDs:

  • Passport
  • Foreigner Registration Card (ARC)
  • Visa with photo ID

Without proper ID, your surgery may be delayed or canceled. This is a national regulation, not just a clinic policy.

8. Same-Day Surgery Is Possible—With Conditions

We do offer same-day consultation and surgery, but only when:

  • You’ve provided enough information in advance
  • There are no unexpected health issues
  • Your travel schedule allows enough time for recovery

Let us know your travel plans and any other procedures you may have scheduled.

9. Additional Treatments After Anesthesia

If you’d like to receive mole removal, Botox, filler, or laser treatments while still under anesthesia, let us know in advance so we can prepare.

10. For Gender-Affirming Surgery Patients

If you are undergoing gender-affirming top surgery, please note that:

  • A diagnosis letter or therapist’s recommendation may be required
  • This helps us comply with local and international medical standards
Contact us in advance for detailed documentation requirements.
